David Rawi focuses his practice on the representation of healthcare providers and related entities in various business disputes both transactional and litigation-related. Mr. Rawi has extensive experience litigating cases in state and federal courts and has served on numerous trial teams within California and in other states. He also counsels individuals and groups through a variety of business transactions and has represented physicians through medical board investigations.
Mr. Rawi has a diverse legal background. Within healthcare, Mr. Rawi has pursued and defended claims involving partnership disputes, shareholder rights, management services organizations, coding and reimbursement, and allied health care professionals. He has also negotiated employment and independent contractor agreements, professional services agreements, shareholder agreements, asset purchase agreements, partnership agreements, and advised individuals and groups through corporate formation issues. In addition to his current focus on business related issues, he has extensive experience within healthcare defending providers in all phases of malpractice litigation, including professional negligence, elder and dependent adult abuse, and premises liability. Outside of healthcare, Mr. Rawi has served at both local and national levels defending international conglomerate safety equipment manufacturers and U.S.-based automotive component manufacturers against various product and commercial claims. He has a keen sense for strategic positioning throughout all phases of litigation, including written discovery, depositions, law and motion, and trial.
Prior to graduating law school, Mr. Rawi clerked for the California Medical Association and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where he worked alongside policymakers and administrative authorities in service and protection of healthcare providers. While at U.C.L.A, he interned for the Los Angeles County Medical Association.
Mr. Rawi was a litigation attorney at Dentons LLP prior to joining the firm in 2016.

Mr. Rawi holds a law degree with a certificate of concentration in Healthcare Law from Michigan State University, College of Law, where he was a member of the International Arbitration Moot Court Team and served as the Vice President of the Medical Legal Society for consecutive years. He also holds a Bachelor degree from University of California, Los Angeles, where he studied Economics and English and graduated in 2006.
